We take your privacy seriously. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data from Aussie Marketers.

What Data We Collect

Depending on your interaction with Aussie Marketers, we may hold the following types of personal data:

  • Name and email address (provided during sign-up or enquiry)
  • Phone number and business details
  • Billing and payment information
  • Usage data, analytics, and cookies
  • Communications, support tickets, and correspondence

Your Rights Under Australian Privacy Law

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to request access to, correction of, and deletion of your personal information held by us.

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you may also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).

How the Deletion Process Works

Once you submit a deletion request, here’s what happens:

  • Verification (1–3 business days): We verify your identity to protect your account from unauthorised requests.
  • Processing (up to 30 days): We locate and permanently delete or anonymise your personal data from our active systems.
  • Confirmation: You’ll receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
  • Backup purge: Residual data in encrypted backups may take up to 90 days to be fully purged.

Please note: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g., financial records for tax obligations under the ATO).
